Our favourite material is the 100% <strong>biocompatible ceramic<\/strong>, fillings made from high-quality plastic-ceramic mixtures. Today, it has been widely proven that cardiovascular diseases, rheumatic diseases, strokes, diabetes, infertility, depression, intestinal diseases and many diseases of the autoimmune system very often start in the mouth or are intensified there.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"btn btn-lg btn-primary toggle collapsed\" role=\"button\" href=\"#collapse-ursache\" data-toggle=\"collapse\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"collapse-ursache\">\u00bb <\/a><\/p>\n<div class=\"collapse\" id=\"collapse-ursache\">\n<p>Chronic inflammation can often be blamed for this. And this occurs particularly often in the oral cavity. Dr. Baumstieger and Colleagues in Kronberg are experts in interference diagnostics, especially with regard to <strong>NICOs. <\/strong><strong>NICO<\/strong>\u00a0is short for Neuralgia-Inducing Cavitational Osteonecrosis. This disease often lies dormant, or goes undiscovered inside gingival pockets. A sticky biofilm with highly aggressive bacteria is what triggers chronic inflammation. If the disease goes undetected or untreated, the tooth will lose its support as a result of bone loss and fall out. A variety of other diseases can also develop from this.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"btn btn-lg btn-primary toggle collapsed\" role=\"button\" href=\"#collapse-herd\" data-toggle=\"collapse\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"collapse-herd\">\u00bb <\/a><\/p>\n<p><div class=\"collapse\" id=\"collapse-herd\"> Dr. Astrid Baumstieger and Colleagues in Kronberg specialise in the detection and treatment of periodontal diseases. Each of our specially trained prophylaxis specialists has attended additional further training courses and completed the qualification to become a dental hygienist (DH) or dental prophylaxis assistant (DPA). If it is not detected early, it will attack the tooth nerve. If the tooth pain becomes very severe, patients can undergo root canal treatment under a microscope and, in most cases, the tooth can be saved.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"btn btn-lg btn-primary toggle collapsed\" role=\"button\" href=\"#collapse-stoer\" data-toggle=\"collapse\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"collapse-stoer\">\u00bb <\/a><\/p>\n<div class=\"collapse\" id=\"collapse-stoer\">\n<p>However, nerves will sometimes die quietly. This leaves behind bacteria that continue to survive in the absence of oxygen. This creates decay that makes its way into the bone via the root tip. When the immune system wants to prevent bacteria from spreading, it forms a cyst with a tissue capsule at the tip of the root. The capsule may fill up with pus or with cystic-granular tissue. Both cases involve the formation of a dangerous, silent and chronic inflammatory process that will persist for years and severely weaken the body. They can appear in places where teeth have been extracted. Typically, these are the wisdom tooth areas. However, you don\u2019t need to have had a wisdom tooth removed to develop a NICO. NICOs can develop regardless of the tooth you&#8217;ve had extracted.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"btn btn-lg btn-primary toggle collapsed\" role=\"button\" href=\"#collapse-nico\" data-toggle=\"collapse\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"collapse-nico\">\u00bb <\/a><\/p>\n<div class=\"collapse\" id=\"collapse-nico\">\n<p>NICOs are the result of a wound that has not healed properly. About 50% of those who have wisdom tooth surgery experience complications and pain. NICOs can cause terrible pain because the trigeminal nerve is often in the middle of the inflamed area.<\/p>\n<p>To extract teeth in a gentle and pain-free way, we:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Spend a lot of time on the procedure!<\/li>\n<li>Use a DVT (three-dimensional x-ray) to determine the exact position and condition of the bones<\/li>\n<li>Use ozone to disinfect, reduce infections, and promote wound healing<\/li>\n<li>Use a supply of the wound in addition to an autologous matrix (PRGF) from the patient&#8217;s own blood<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/section>\n\n<section id=\"content-standard-block_460c28f690ed62e05a6c114fe4735756\" class=\"content-standard bg-trans   text-default pt-md-5 pt-4 pb-md-5 pb-4 \" >\r\n\t<div class=\"container\">\r\n    \t<div class=\"row\">\r\n\t\t\t<div class=\"col-12\"><h2>Peri-implantitis as a &ldquo;disturbance field&rdquo;<\/h2>\n<p>Implants always require special care so that they stay in the bone for a long time without becoming inflamed.
