Preserving teeth
Extensive “holes in the tooth” (carious lesions) do not just destroy the structure of the tooth, but also affect the nerve that lies deeper. In extreme cases, the tooth dies and will need to be extracted. Our goal is to preserve as many teeth as possible. That is why we provide root canal treatments (endodontics) to patients with severe caries. This improves the chances of saving the tooth. Our experienced paediatric dentists are very skilled at this – and we can save most teeth.
